TED

TED stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design. It’s best known for its legendary sell-out conferences, which bring together people from those three worlds.

Speakers – from Al Gore to Paola Antonelli - are challenged to give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes. The talks are all uploaded onto the site in due course. The blog is an extension of the idea, and includes contributions from all sorts of interesting people on ‘ideas worth sharing.’
