Graphic designer and illustrator, Alan Aldridge embodied the spirit of the 60s and 70s with his evocative, psychedelic images.
This display of complete works includes sketches, notes, letters and other archival material as well as films; bringing to life the dramatic career of Alan Aldridge. The exhibition features Aldridge's work with The Beatles, Andy Warhol and The Rolling Stones through to his illustrations for children's book, The Butterfly Ball and The Grasshoppers Feast.
In connection with this exhibition, Alan Aldridge will be giving a talk about his work on
Tuesday 21 October, 7.15pm. Tickets cost £15 and can be booked via the
Design Council website.
